Description
This is a Stahlhelmbund (SHB) visorcap from approximately the year 1934.
Typical late 1020’s, early 1930’s style cap in very good condition. There’s even a paper stamp still attached to the sweatband. The insignia with double coackarde and early 1930’s NSDAP eagle wih swastika.
The chinstrap with “holes” in the middle can be found on period photo’s and was definately not in use for a long time. Also included are two original Stahlhelmbund photo’s from again the early 1930’s, one of which shows an exact similar cap with striking chinstrap.
Stahlhelmbund visorcaps are very rare and hard to find, especially this late style in good condition.
