Description
Hitlerjugend (HJ) / Hitler Youth group “Easter” figures candy holders.
Made of pressed paper. The Easterbunny is on the back D.R.G.M. marked. Most propbably these date from before 1934 when the RZM rules came in place and the production of items like this was prohibited.
The group consists of:
- Hitlerjugend Easter Bunny (28 centimeters in height)
- Two easterchicks with helmets (8 centimeters in height)
- A large easter duck (21 centimeters in height)
All three ducks/chicks wear helmets and/or medals. The large Easterbunny wears a Hitlerjugend armband and scarf with swastika knot.
The two chicks and the easterbunny can be opened by lifting their heads, collectors concsensus tells that they were filled with candy during easter days.
VERY RARE to find! Im aware of two or three other bunnies, but this is the only such complete easter set i’ve ever encountered.
