Description
This is a great sculpture of a French World war I soldier, depicting a storming French soldier at the battle of Douaumont.
It is about 35 centmeters high (and wide as the rifle also measures approximately 35 centimeters from tip to tip).
The bayonet is a seperate piece that can be screwed off and on (just like a real one?).
The sculpture is made of what appears to be an alloy, probably zamak.
Completely undamaged and of great quality and colour.
Signed at the bottom by artist Ruffony.
Very nice and also very rare to find.
This would make an excellent dislay in a glass cabinet or on a low cabinet.
