Description
This is a personalised plaque of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF), a 25 Years Jubilee porcelain plaque of Goerg Winterstein, for 25 years of loyal service (1913 – 1938) at the fabrik of porcelain manufacturer Friedrich Kaestner.
The plaque measures approximately 15,5 x 11 centimeters.
In excellent condition.
On the front is a colorfull image of the company’s buildings., srrounded by a text that reads: “Die Arbeit ist der Sinn des Lebens” [Work is meaning of Life], on the lower end is a gold colored swastika, as are two symbols in the upper corners. Ont he back is the name of the manufacturer “Kaestner Saxonia”.
As this is a personalised item for a jubilee of one of their most valued and loyal employees, it explains why a personalised one off plaque was made. Nowadays it’s a unique DAF collectable item for any Labour Front collector or museum
