Description
This is a cased solid silver presentation plaque from Hermann Göring to Obergruppenführer and Gauleiter Düsseldorf, Friedrich Karl Florian.
The plaque was given “in comradery” by Göring to Florian on 16-1-1939, and for merit for the Reichsbund deutsche Jägerschaft.
The solid silver plaque has a sixe of approximately 23 x 16,5 centimeters and the original case has a size of approximately 29 x 23 centimeters.
The plaque was made by famous german medalmaker Godet and marked as such on the lower backside. The plaque is of very high quality and the surface shines like a mirror.
The case is original to the plaque. It misses one closing clip and the reen leather strip for ligting the plaque has been replaced.
An absolutely unique piece which could be the highlight of any Jägerschaft or Göring collection.
