This is the book “In ‘t Verleden ligt ‘t Heden”. It shows old Dutch sea heroes of past centuries and sets them as example to Dutch SS men like Knightscross recipient Gerardus Mooyman and other volunteers. The book is mainly a picture/photobook.
This SS book is very hard to find.
In good condition. Complete. These book were printed on inferior wartime paper and literally EVERY edition i ever saw in my life has some kind of damage or foxing on the paper. This one i’d rate as GOOD, it would hard to find a better one as most have some kind of damages.
